The emergence of new communications technologies using new frequency ranges is driving the demand for accurate monitoring of EMF levels, for both Industrial and domestic users.  

Until now, monitoring equipment has been very expensive, with meters costing tens of thousands of dollars. German based Giga-Hertz solutions has produced a range of cost-effective EMF measurement instruments, which allow you to take meaningful measurements, and yet are very affordable. 

The HF38B-W kit includes two handheld meters. The HF38B, which covers a range of 700mhz to 2700MHz, and the HFW35C, which has a measurement range of 2.4 to 6GHz. 

This means the kit covers a frequency range of 700Mhz to 6Ghz, allowing you to measure both peak and RMS levels. 

With the help of the audio analysis, it is possible to distinguish most radiation sources even without any experience in electronics, such as mobile phones, Wi-Fi, DECT, radar, etc.  

The meters also give you an audible sense of the signals being observed. For example, you can hear the difference between a 2.4Ghz and a 5Ghz Wi-Fi signal, simply by listening and comparing with the offered sound samples. 

In addition, the SUM of ALL interfering radio services present at the place of measurement is always displayed, not just the strongest frequency, as is common with the very cheap broadband detectors that have become available recently. 

The LogPer (logarithmic periodic) antennas allow you to detect and measure even hidden sources of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation (HF). The measurement can take place either indoors or outdoors, but you do need to protect the device from moisture. 

The HF38B-W kit Includes all you need to measure 5G frequencies ("Sub-6-GHz" bands). 

You can also measure all other mobile services including GSM, UMTS, LTE, 2G, 3G, and 4G, as well as DECT, both WLAN & WiFi bands, WiMAX, and several radar frequencies.
